So sorry i haven't written in a while. I have been going and going for like the last week. All last week i wasn't feeling well. So sadly i didn't work out with my mom in law, so now we have to add a week to our slim in 6 process. I am really starting to be skeptical about it. I just don't know if it works the way it promises. I can't honestly say that i have given it 110% either. So i will finish out the last 3 weeks of it as strong as i can, but if it doesn't work the way i want it to. I'm not gonna give up on my lifestyle and weight change. I'll just have to find a different type of exercise that works for me. I know i can do it. I just have to have the determination. I have done it before. Anyhow moving on.....
On Thursday we headed out to Las Vegas. We stayed for the weekend and got home last night. Man we had so much fun, but Steve, Adey and I are all really happy to be home. Going back really confirmed that we really made the right decision to move out here! While we had a blast with family and friends all we wanted to do at the end of the night was come home! There is nothing about that city that i miss. Its just not my kind of place. Its fun for a little while, also if you don't have a baby or small children with you, there is definitely more to do, but other wise there is slim to nothing. I really did have fun seeing my mom, and my cousin, and our friends, and a bonus of being up there this weekend as well was my sister and nephew from San Diego were up visiting at the same time. So it was almost like a small family reunion. lol. It took us way too long to drive home last night tho. We left at 3 and didn't get back till about 8:15. RIDICULOUS!
So plans/ Goals for this week. I need to get back on track with everything! This is going to be my year but not if i have a month like January! I am going to have 3-4 workshops for Heritage Makers this month. I am going to lose a total of 10 lbs this month. I am going to get involved in the church more and grow immensely in my spiritual life! I can do all of these goals they aren't too big to be out of reach! Please pray for me and that i keep my path straight and my determination stays strong and grows a little more everyday.

adey's schedule
Well Adelynne is doing well and then not so much on her schedule. But at least the not so much part is usually due to her schedule being off because of us being out all day and her not getting her proper naps. Yesterday we were out running errands so she never got a full nap till like 630pm. So needless to say she was over tired really cranky and didn't go down easy. Now today i had bible study this morning. Which was really great being around all the great ladies at my table but.... for some reason when we got home she didnt want to go right to sleep so she was being really difficult to get down for a nap again. She didn't want to do anything but cry. it was so sad. Im not sure if these difficulites in getting her down for her naps are all due to her being over stimulated maybe and being out too long or what. But its been rough. Maybe the crazy weather has something to do with it as well. She did sleep all the way through the night last night though so that was nice. Shes sleeping now so hopefully when she wakes up things will be easier and she can start to get back to her schedule again. Yuck this weather is awful. I still have to go grocery shopping tonight in it.

Sooo its early, I'm up :) weird. never would have thought of myself as a morning person. Motherhood will change you for sure! lol. Anyhow.. about to head out to have a play date, maybe go walking if the rain stays a way long enough with A friend of mine and her daughter and another hopefully new friend and her daughter and little boy. I'm actually loving this home town, friendly people type thing. Definitely more my style. No wonder i never felt like i quite belonged in Vegas... i didn't. Only took me 18 years to figure that one out!

Positive changes being enforced for the new year.
We all make new years resolutions right? How many of us keep them?
Well i am determined to make mine a part of my everyday life, and so far so good.
I wanted to get Adey on a schedule so that she will sleep through the night and have a healthy, active daily schedule too! I decided to implement some of the babywise method. The first few days were pretty rough on us buuuuut, Im proud to say, shes taking to it like a champ. She eats three meals a day, naps 2-3 times a day (but wait here's the kicker) she goes down for those naps by herself. I lay her in her crib awake and she goes to sleep on her own with little to no fuss! I love babywise. Its worked wonders for us. She also does the same thing at bed time. Most nights she does sleep a solid 8- 8 1/2 hrs so far. Seems to me with this schedule she is happier, better rested and eating great! So pray that it keeps going well.
My other determination for the year that i have started out strong with so far is LOSING WEIGHT! Man! i know everyone sets this one... and i probably have every year too but i am really doing it this year. I am fed up with being unhealthy and unhappy with the way i am. No one is going to change it but me right! So here i go. My mother in law and I have committed to a 6 week program called slim in 6. It promises to reshape your body in 6 weeks. Well we are on week 2 and we have both lost 4 lbs each! So it must be doing something good for us. I would appreciate any prayers and encouragement to keep me going. I'm not just dieting, I'm not just working out, I'm implementing a complete life style change. Adelynne needs a mommy, Steve needs a wife. If i don't keep myself healthy and doing everything in the natural to make sure i am at my best to be the best mom and wife i can be than I'm not doing any of us any good. Sooo here it goes, I'm all in!
The work out goes through three phases. We finished the first phase which was a 25 min work out for 6 days. Now we have started the 3rd week or our 2nd phase which is a 47 min work out 6 days a week. phew.. its tough! But we are determined. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

Welcome, and a little bit to catch you up to speed.
Hi all. Welcome to our blog. I am excited to share our life's little adventures with you. I will be doing my best to at least write a little blurb everyday about the days important events. Mostly i decided to do this for Adelynne. I would love to be able to go back years from now and let her see what her days growing up were like. I have a business called Heritage Makers, its a digital storybooking company that allows you to take your pictures and your stories and publish them into beautiful, hard cover, linen enforced, threaded bound books. So i really think this daily blog will not only be fun and keep my life connected with family and friends but also aide me in the ability to really go back when making storybooks of our life and remember all the little details of the fun and crazy moments.
Okay, so now a quick catch up. Steve and I were married May 26, 2008. We expanded our family with the welcoming of our little girl Adelynne Marie Wiseman on April 13, 2009. Steve landed a job in California late November 2009 with Southland Data Processing, with the blessing of the Lord we also found a beautiful house the same weekend. The day before Thanksgiving we packed up everything we owned, dogs and all and headed out to California. We stayed with Steves family for about a week and a half until our house was move in ready! Our house is located in Banning, CA. I couldn't be happier with it. Its all we need and more. Its a 3bdrm 2bath 1 story home built in the 1950's but completely remodeled. It truly was a blessing to find. We only live about 7 mins from Steves family and not too much further from some of my family, so we have lots of love and support just right around the corner. We are currently continuing with building our faith and fellowship with the help of Oak Valley Family Church. We usually go to Saturday night service and then i also attend Thursday morning women's bible study. I have really met some great people already. Two great women in particular have really took me under their wing and made me feel welcome. (B. and J.) It's really fun because they are both stay at home moms with daughters also, only months older than Adelynne. Between the help of God, loving family and newly gained friends, the transition from a really fast paced city life to a more relaxed paced country life has been pretty smooth. I dearly miss my mother and some other family members i left back in Vegas though. That probably will never change, at least until visiting time or they move here :)
Well that's about it for now.... Now i will be able to keep going from here. Pictures and more stories to come! Take care and God bless.
